For the past 15 years, I’ve specialized in corporate writing and editing, working with a wide range of businesses in a number of industries including high tech, travel & tourism, telecommunications and pharmaceuticals. I’ve been both an in-house writer/editor and an outsourced freelancer for large corporations, small businesses, educational publishers, and advertising agencies.
I’m a graduate of Glendon College (the bilingual college at York University, B.A. in History), and the University of British Columbia (M.A.), where I also taught medieval history for two years. Transitioning out of academia,
I worked as a researcher, writer and editor on projects
with a historical theme for electronic publishers and independent documentary production companies in Vancouver and Toronto.
